How it all works – information on your photo session

Your pet photography session is about celebrating your pet’s personality and your relationship with him or her. I believe is customising a photo session that fits your style and your pet’s character and disposition. I have provided in-depth information for your photo session through the whole process below.

Before your session

It is important to me that your pet photography photo session goes as smoothly as possible.
You can use the contact form or email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to book your photo session.
I am available for any questions if you require information on your photo session.
Once you have booked, we will arrange a convenient time for a pre-consultation session. This can be taken over the telephone or over a coffee at a local cafe. Here we discuss your expectations, location options, and any additional information on your photo session..

Enjoy your session

Your session will run for between 1-2 hours, but at your pet’s pace.
Each session begins with your fur baby getting to know me and my gear so to make them comfortable with the photo session.
I like to begin with some “play time” with any games your dog enjoys whilst outdoors.
We will also schedule plenty of play breaks.
As the session unfolds, there will be plenty of time for posed shots, candid portraits and action shots.

After your session

While you will be eager to see the images as quickly as possible, I will go through and edit down the images and pick the best ones.
I will have a beautiful gallery of between 30 – 50 images from the photo session.
We will arrange a consultation session to pick your favourite images.
I will send your digital images within seven days of your consultation session. This is also the perfect opportunity to select some genuine keepsakes from your photo session. This could be a combination of wall art, acrylic photos and framed photos. The cost of these keepsakes will be in addition to your digital files.
People will spend between $750 and $2,000 on their pet photography products.
